Cliche Day

Our household subscribes to the wonderful world of Uncle John. While perusing a volume day before yesterday I ran across a few lesser known holidays and November 3rd is Cliche Day! Which makes me want to;
'Look before you leap.'
Except that 'he who hesitates is lost.'
Then again, 'haste makes waste.'
Of course, 'a stitch in time saves nine.'
But, 'time and tide wait for no man.'
Those who 'act in haste, repent at leisure.'
If we 'lay our cards on the table,' it might look like 'the pot calling the kettle black.'
When 'the fat is in the fire'
All I have to say is 'the best is yet to come.'

This is me, HAPPY CLICHE DAY everybody!
