I went to our polling place in the middle of the morning hoping there would not be a long line so I could take my time. That was not the case, which is actually a good thing. I'm always pleased when a lot of people vote.
My philosophy at the ballot was to check yes or no for the Propositions. I had that decided beforehand. Then I went down the list of candidates for each position and paused before each name. If I got an icky feeling - and I really tried to not listen to any of the anti-commercials about anyone but I did do my research in other ways; I wasn't just guessing - then I moved on.
I was happy with the end result. We'll see how it all comes out tomorrow.
This is me earning the right to complain if it doesn't end up the way I wanted.
