December Cold

I suppose it was inevitable - we breathe the same air, sleep in the same bed, drive the same cars and use the same bathroom - but I was REALLY hoping not to get sick this time, even though Tarzan has been doing his best to spread his germs everywhere but with me.
Alas, it is not to be. The scratchy throat, the sniffling nose, the dreaded ear pops.

This is me and I can feel it coming. I do not have time for this!

The human body is a wonderful thing. Give it too much stress, and something breaks. For me, my immune system has decided that outside invaders aren't as important as destroying the parts INSIDE of me. I think I'd rather have a cold. The point really is my dear Jane: we can't all save all of the world all the time. Rest up and know that things are just going to be that way for a little while. And feel better soon.

NoooooOOO!!!!!!! I usually get lots of sick, especially because the kids lick shopping carts and me. But this season I've been okay so far (knock on wood!!!) because I'm finally taking a multivitamin every day. It's a flippin' miracle.
